Getting Access

Warning

This information is for national NAISS users. For allocations via EuroHPC, see Access for EuroHPC users unless you have been explicitly told that your EuroHPC project is handled in the same way as a national NAISS project.

Make sure you have a user in SUPR

Go to SUPR and register a user if you do not already have one. If you have lost access to your existing SUPR user, please contact SUPR support instead of creating a new user.

Accept the NAISS General Terms of Use

Accept the NAISS General Terms of Use if you have not already done that. If needed, read more about the alternatives you can use.

Join an existing project or apply for a new one

If you want to join an existing project, use the Request Membership in Project function on the project page to search for the project and request to join it. The PI for the project will approve (or deny) your membership.

If you already a member of one or more projects, you will see that on the project page.

If you do not have an existing project to join, look at the Allocations section for information on how to get a new project.

Request an account on the resource

When you are a member of an appropriate project, you can request login accounts on resources on the accounts page, where you will also see your existing ones.

Information on specific NAISS resources:

Arrhenius HPC (CPU/GPU compute and associated storage): See detailed instruction for Arrhenius HPC.

Arrhenius PCD (Persistent Compute and Data): Does not use login accounts like traditional clusters. See instructions on how to use the Arrhenius PCD Dashboard.

Arrhenius SENS (sensitive data part): Information to be provided shortly.

NAISS SENS on Bianca: Make sure you have or request an UPPMAX account on the accounts page, then see Log in to Bianca.
