Sum rule for total maximum allocation¶

NAISS have upper limits on the capacity you can request. Both for individual resources and for the sum of resources. The limits for individual resources differ between rounds, as can the maximum amount for the sum rule.

The sum rule applies to compute resources with an upper limit of 100% in the NAISS rounds, Large, Medium and Small. That is, you can for example request 80% of maximum on one compute resource and 20% of maxmimum on another, the sum is 100%. Or 100% of maximum on one compute resource and nothing on any other. No more than that.

There are no sum rule for storage resources.
